The High Road Service Center is a new national project dedicated to bringing elected officials, stakeholders, activists and issue experts together to travel the High Road. Taking the "High Road" means promoting high-wage, low-waste, worker-friendly, publicly-accountable economic development. That goal includes targeted education and training systems, sustainable mass transportation and communication systems, and an open and accountable public government. Building such things costs money, and experience and analysis shows that this type of social spending is an investment with an eventual payback far exceeding original cost.
