Fighting Predatory Lenders

On August 30, 2000, the City of Chicago passed a predatory lending ordinance, the first of its kind in the nation. 

The Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) is leading the fight against predatory lenders, and will help your city combat payday loans. In Saint Paul, they orchestrated a “Don’t Borrow Trouble” Coalition to Protest Wells Fargo .
